We stayed at the hotel 1 week ago, room 479, I believe, can’t remember exactly. But we were on the 4th floor for sure. We didn’t know anything about the hotel being haunted until last Monday when the taxi driver told us about it on our way to the airport in St John. We didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary, but the hotel definitely has a weird vibe. I actually told my sister when we were walking down the hall to our room “This hotel is so old is gotta be haunted, ” 😫
The only thing “strange” that happened to me specifically was that I kind of had trouble sleeping, and when I finally felt asleep, I dreamed of an ex boyfriend who was very special to me and I haven’t talked to in years. It was a very sad dream and I woke up unwell, crying and feeling a hopeless, that’s the best way I can describe it. I spent all morning with that uneasy feeling. When we checked out and left, I started feeling better. After the taxi driver told us about the hotel, I started looking up information on the internet and read about people who have stayed on the 4th floor experiencing deep feelings of sadness, depression, out of nowhere, and some people said it is related to the ghost bride and her eternal sadness, that you might not see her, but her energy is so strong, that you can feel what she’s feeling. It kind of made sense to me, since that was how I felt after that dream. Maybe it was just a coincidence, I don’t know 🤷♀️
That’s actually not the room – it’s around the corner! The room is still marked and in the middle of a hallway beside a big picture of a woman playing tennis. Super cool though.
My hockey team played mini sticks in the room you had to go the room when The fire alarm went off
I live right right by Algonquin park n have family from there who are Algonquin that were literally dragged n forcibly removed from there home there for logging mining n all kinds of extraction of resources n during the time there was all kind of abuse from settlers passing through n they caused many sicknesses on the Algonquin people n there’s stories of us dying in our homes from being infected from things like blankets n the settlers would tar down their homes for to make camp fire while they laid dying they even rapped our women while they were vulnerable,, there a lot of stories like this n similar n that could definitely be a cause of angry spirits

I live in St. Andrews and go on the tour every year pls notice me I have a lot of story’s about the court house how we scared the tour guide so much she quit

This is not the most haunted hotel in Canada but it is one of the most haunted hotels in canada
the Fort Garry hotel has the most haunted room in it

You are fking with someone ones business and livelihood. Not cool man. Go to some "haunted" field in the middle of nowhere and do a "ghost story".
